About

I am a PhD student in Linguistics at the Graduate Center, CUNY, advised by Jason Bishop. Before coming to New York, I received an MA in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics from Nanjing University and had a BA in Chinese Language and Literature from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.

My current research uses experimental and computational methods to investigate phonetics and prosody, with a particular focus on individual differences in coarticulation in New York English. I have also conducted fieldwork on Ekhwa Adara, a Niger-Congo language. Earlier in my training, I worked on degree semantics, focusing on gradability and property concept constructions.
